You make an interesting point in this post with your comment about this building not respecting its surroundings -- I believe you said something to the effect of "they chose sustainability over good campus planning?" Wow. Excellent point. What is an architect really achieving with sustainability (the long term effects of which can still be suspect) if he or she is sacrificing quality planning and the experience of the occupants?
