Mulligan! So after the careful consideration of images and descriptions to include in this assignment, all text is unreadable at the "blog" scale. I'll be sure to address this in the revision. I believe there is too much text anyway. The basic jist: Drawing a parallel to this idea. Good Idea + Good Execution= Great Building (boards 1 and 2). Progressing to Good Idea + Poor Execution=Mediocre Architecture (board 3).
Nick I think text size looks just fine. If you bump it up to be readable on the thumbnails I think its going to detract from the real size. My suggestion would be to leave it as is. I think you are correct, though, you can be a little more economical with your words.
I like the notion of "good idea/bad execution" and I kind of wish you had several examples rather than focusing on a single one.
Besides that minor criticism I think the presentation is well thought out, with a clear theme in each. Good looking boards too.
Nice job with the content description and board layout! It's OK for the text to be readable only in the pop up window - if you used a bigger font for the main themes this would help read at least the key words on the blog scale as well as give some graphic punch to the boards.
You are clearly after some aesthetic clues that relate to the sustainable or nature related aspects of a project. Thinking forward: What would this mean in an urban context?
I really enjoyed your photos of the Thorncrown Chapel. A few years back the University of Florida had a facility built that was to imitate the Thorncrown Chapel’s style, it is called the Baughman Meditation Center. Situated on the edge of a lake, it uses the water as a central focus instead of nature in general. While the final product shows similarities it does not embody the thin stick like construction and transparency to nature that the chapel has. I wonder if this speaks to the difficulty of imitating a great work while still maintaining originality and not losing the intentions of the imitated work.
A really nice presentation. The pictures you've chosen for your harmony with nature really points out your theme.
The Thorncrown Chapel sort of reminds me of this Cathedral in Colombia designed by an architect name Simon Velez. He used bamboo materials to do this Cathedral. I couldn't really find an official website but you checkout out this website to look at some of Velez's projects. Also, there are some pics of the cathedral as well.

Thought maybe it will be interesting to see other ideas for organic architecture.
